4 Stars great book to start your healthier you!
Lots of great information on how to live healthy. Everyone that thinks they know what healthy eating is, gotta read this book! Covers everything you need to know. I have other books that I love as well, but all in all, this is a great health book, easy for anyone to understand and follows.

It is impossible to review this book because I NEVER received it! Ordered over 1 month ago and still waiting. Too bad as this is my firt time using Amazon. Not sure I will use it again.

5 Stars one of the best health book i’ve read.
I’ve been reading a lot of health books from raw food diets to detailed china study and this book sums it up really well. If you are looking for a healthy way to live and don’t want to go thru’ a bunch of books, this one will do it for sure. I’ve been recommending this book to my family and friends, they all agree.

5 Stars GREAT book
I love all the info; I don’t care about some health experts who are saying now there’s no benefit to food combining. What I’m saying to you who are reading this; YOU FEEL GREAT eating what this lady says to eat.

It takes a few days to get used to it; like anything.. but then, you have so much energy, you’ll be housekeeping at 10pm, it is just great to eat and feel like it was just what your body wanted.

Health Through New Thought and Fasting - You: On A Diet




Wallace D. Wattles was an American author and a pioneer success writer.

His most famous work is a book called The Science of Getting Rich in which he explains how to get rich.

He personally “tested” the principles he describes in his book and they worked, as although he had lived most of his life in poverty, in his later years became rich.

Other books by Wallace include Health Through New Thought and Fasting, The Science of Being Great, The Science of Being Well, Making of the Man Who Can and a novel, Hellfire Harrison.

Little is known about Wattles’ life.

He was born in the USA shortly before the civil war, and experienced much failure in his earlier years. Later in life he took to studying the various religious beliefs and philosophies of the world including those of Descartes, Spinoza, Gottfried Leibniz, Schopenhauer, Hegel, Swedenborg, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and others.

It was through his tireless study and experimentation that he discovered the truth of New Thought principles and put them into practice in his own life. He began to write books outlining these principles.

He practiced the technique of creative visualisation and as his daughter Florence relates, “He wrote almost constantly.

It was then that he formed his mental picture.

He saw himself as a successful writer, a personality of power, an advancing man, and he began to work toward the realization of this vision. He lived every page … His life was truly the powerful life.”

Wattles has been the author of numerous works as a part of the New Thought movement of the early 20th century.

5 Stars Health-wise
This book is a very good basic primer on why to fast, but there is no diet outlined at all, just why eating light is better than eating heavy is the main message and its a great message! For a more detailed approach I have Paul Bragg’s Miracle of Fasting. THis book is very basic and straight forward, if a bit over-simplistic.
