I have tried many supplements and meal replacements over the years and none comes as close as The Ultimate Meal. I began taking it last year and drinking it once a day to start. Within weeks I had incredible results. My energy increased substantially and I felt good almost all the time. It didn’t take long before I was using this for breakfast and dinner five to six times a week. On Sundays I would splurge and eat normally. Using The Ultimate Meal helped me lose over 100 pounds. Of course I was working out everyday. Now over the past two months I stopped using The Ultimate Meal and have noticed the negative results. 4 Stars Unmatched Ingredient List, Atrocious Taste
I’ve gone through a can of this already, but it took me much longer than it should have. I have iron taste buds and an almost non-existent gag reflex… I can eat almost anything, if I have to.

That said, the taste of this stuff is utterly GROSS. There’s just no way I can force this down every day. And what’s with the instructions on the back of the can “Make sure to CHEW each bite carefully.” Haha… Not a chance in h3ll.

Also, and I realize this is a personal preference that may not be shared by all, but I don’t like the fact that I have to use the blender to make this. And yes, you really do HAVE to use one. I’ve tried just shaking it up in the shaker bottle with some water. It makes the loathsome taste truly unbearable.

So why have I repurchased it? Because the ingredient list is amazing. It makes me feel great once I’ve gotten over the disgustingness of consuming it. (I actually have an entire winding up ritual that I have to do before taking it.)

I bought it again because it has everything I would otherwise take separately in one convenient dose. It’s probably the healthiest product of it’s kind on the market, and I’d rather take something that tastes horrible and be healthy than take something that tastes good and let my long term health suffer.

5 Stars Not a Vegetarian, but a great meal replacement!
I bought this on Monday, and I have been using it only for two days so far. I was looking for a protein drink with a lot of fiber, and this satisfied my list of requirements for drink mixes. I looked at the reviews here and was floored by how many positive reviews and the amount of reviewers, which is a bonus. So I hurried over to the local vitamin shoppe and bought a small can, just in case I didn’t like it then I would not be stuck with a huge amount. I read the reviews and made note about adding a banana and some fruit and that is how I make it. I use a Cuisinart hand blender to mix it all up and it does a great job. Yes the drink is crunchy and you can chew it, but I do add a bunch of rice milk so it is more like a drink to just drink it down verses chewing. I included my recipe below:

1/3 cup of mix

1 banana

2/3 cup of frozen berries

Rice Milk (follow the ultimate meal guidelines for liquid, or pour in more for a liquid consistency)

Blend it all together and enjoy! Mine turns out a beautiful dark purple color from the frozen mixed berries.

5 Stars Finally: After 20 Years of Searching, I found IT!
Peak performance/Productivity and Body Language are what my working life is all about. Nothing can undermine personal productivity like poor nutrition and low energy levels. I would give this negative stars if I could. This kills your appetite, but it also causes headaches, moderate nausea and it caused my blood pressure to get really high and my heart felt like it was racing for several hours, I got so scared. Do not take this!!

3 Stars I’m So Hungry
This will be my first review of this product. I have had it for about a week and so far, I have not noticed any change in my appetite. I have started off taking one pill. When that didnt nudge me, I took two pills. I think I noticed something but that could have been psychological, like a placebo effect or something. Wishful thinking. if anything, I became hungrier on these pills. Before taking them, I had my snacking under control. On these pills, I kept craving iced honey buns. My stomach was hurting so much from hunger pains. I do not know if I need to take three at a time or four to get the effect everyone is talking about. Its doing opposite of what everyone is praising it. Im actually thinking of food non-stop but I know if I eat what I am thinking of, I will feel guilty and depressed for days.

I walk everyday with my weights. I watch what I eat, I eat no more than 1500cal a day. Like I said, maybe its just my body adjusting to them. I thought I felt it working when I took two pills but after that I stopped taking them. Tomorrow I will start again and see what happen. If I start craving honey buns again, Im throwing them away. This is the second brand of hoodia I have tried and none of them seem to work. These pills seem to be brining my appetite ON, not off.

What I can say about them is that they did not make me jittery. I will make another review next week.

I have been using super hoodia for several months and have been very happy with the results. I definitely have less urges to over eat and have junk food. Hoodia may not work for everyone but I like it a lot. My only criticism of the product is that it is much less economical than buying the super hoodia 3-pack that is also available.

I have tried a lot of brands over the last year or so after my doctor recommended Hoodia. I have had disappointing results with the other “popular” brands that I tried but I dont want to bash other products. Im getting older so I am more prone to weight gain so I have been using this Hoodia for almost a year now It helps curve my cravings but doesnt stop my appetite completely, which I think would make me forget to eat basic food. 5 Stars Dr. Oz said to use it so I tried it. This brand is the best!
I tried this product after doing much research on all the different brands and products on the market. It seemed a little pricey but it had great reviews so I opted to use this brand first. I took it for about 4-5 weeks until I ran out. I got great results… my skin felt smoother and healther and I noticed my appetite seemed to be curved and I started loosing some of those extra fatty pounds around my stomach and thighs. I ran out about 2 weeks ago and ordered a cheaper brand but I have noticed the difference in my energy, my skin & weight gain again so I am going back to this Brand. What ever they do to the resveratrol in it seems to be much better processed and works for me…so I am sticking to this brand. I dug the bottle out to get the info off it and reorder the same product. 5 Stars The ultimate in resveratrol supplementation
I have been using Resveratrol daily for about a year now and I even persuaded my husband to use it as well and he is a physician. After using it for a couple of months he noticed the difference. Lots of energy. I started using a brand from our local health food store but then I did more research online and found the company that makes Biotivia Resveratrol Bioforte and found out they offer the highest trans-resveratrol and the company itself I feel I can trust. So I shifted to this brand. It is now giving me twice the amount than the other product I used to take. Its 60 count so I use one bottle every two months. That’s a great bargain for me. Loving it.

This is really good stuff. I tried another brand of resveratrol that is supposed to be fabulous and it was good, but this brand is way better; it really knocks out the aches and pains of old age at lightning speed. I take one capsule in the morning and another at bedtime. It seems to interact beneficially with the 20mg lutein supplement I am taking . . . I am 56 years old and all my friends and relatives have to put on monster heavy glasses to read fine print while I can read fine print with no optical devices; the grand old eyes that God gave me work perfectly due to good nutrition (and will power). I used to wear thick glasses and every visit to the optician was dreadful, with the eye doctors gleefully telling me that I was doomed to failing eyesight as I aged. I believed them for a while and went along with their game until I figured it out. They make money by making our eyesight get worse; they are exploiting their customers most disgracefully. Just like the American Dental Association that approves products and procedures that destroy our teeth . . . when I finally stopped using all their toothpastes and mouthwashes and whitening poison that destroys tooth enamel and started using plain old salt to brush my teeth, like my grandfather did . . . that is when my persistent gum disease disappeared. And that’s all she wrote.

I started taking this product may of 2009 with much skepticism, the first day I was on it I noticed a decrease in my appetite. The second day I still had the decrease in appetite and also an increase in energy. I decided to take advantage of the increase in energy and started riding my mountain bike several miles a day and felt great not winded and no sore muscles even thought I was very out of shape. With the decrease in appetite I stopped eating as much, and had way more control to stop eating when I was full. I also stopped craving junk food and started eating healthier. I have lost a total of 50 lbs and went from wearing a size 14 jeans down to a size 6. I have also noticed that the hard to get rid of fat areas like around my tummy, thighs, butt and yes that dreaded hideous back bra fat are smooth and flat now. I get tons of compliments on my figure now and have not felt better in years.

I have not had any side effects from taking this product, and I continue to have lots of energy and a curbed appetite. I have also not had any kind of illness, not even a cold since I have been on this product. My skin is way clearer and I have been told I look younger, so yes I have seen a definite improvement in the aging and amount of wrinkles that I use to see.. I stopped riding my mountain bike when the weather got cold and wet and I have still maintained the same weight and feel very fit even without working out. I ran out of my product a few weeks ago and decided to see what would happen if I stopped taking it. 4 Stars After 60 or 80?
I have owned the Omron HBF-306 Body Fat Analyzer for a few years now and find it a useful monitoring fitness tool, but a question I had when I bought the device now becomes an issue.

The athletic age mode stops at 60 years of age and the Normal age mode ends at 80 years. So the question is what happens if you are still using the analyzer and you are 61+ or 81+.

Does Omron have any adjustment to the analyzer once someone exceeds the programmed age limits?

The key to getting consistent results with this device is to measure under the same hydration conditions. My suggestion: wake up, urinate, and then weigh and body fat analyze yourself using this device. While it’s true that this is your most dehydrated state of the day (thus resulting in your lowest possible body fat percentage) at least this way you can track your progress consistently. My body fat percentage goes up like 3% after I’ve rehydrated myself in the morning (I drink a lot of water).

While I can’t testify to its exact accuracy, it definitely gets the trend correct. As I’ve lost fat (as measured by looking in the mirror, weighing myself and strength gains/maintenance in the gym during weight lifting), the analyzer shows a decrease in % body fat. The device also picked up periods when I’ve lost muscle (as measured by loss of strength in the gym during weight lifting). It feels pretty accurate at picking up small real changes.

I have a set of calipers, and I find them to be kinda useless because I’m not trained in using them and you can only reach some sites of measurement. The Omron device is much more useful to me than the calipers.

2 Stars Not very accurate
I purchased this item last year to aid in my weight loss goals. Of course, I wasn’t pleased with the readout I was getting since I was overweight. I recently got serious about losing weight and have lost 23 lbs. I only have 10 more pounds to go. The Omron tells me that my body fat is the same as when I started. In fact, some of the readings I get are higher than when I started. I have followed the directions to a tee and am still getting different readings every time I use it. In addition, my BMI has remained unchanged. I think the Omron is easy to use and is somewhat accurate, but obviously not as accurate as I had hoped. I think the only way to get a real idea of your body fat and BMI is at the doctor’s office or at a gym where they have a water tank.

I was so excited to get this fat analyzer thinking that it would give me accurate information for me and my body size. I input the data regarding my height, weight and age just as it asked, I held on to the handles and it gave me a reading. I agreed with the reading because I know just about where my BMI is for my size. Then I decided to input my ideal height, weight and age as guest #9, just for grins and giggles. So I put these figures in and held on to the handles. I was thinking that it would error out, or something, because surely the “electrical current” would find me out to be a liar. It didn’t. It gave me an ideal BMI and body fat percentage for the data I inputted. This machine is nothing more than a calculator. Don’t waste your money. I saw a BMI/fat analyzer at my local grocery store for $7.99. I bet it’s the same thing as this one, only without handles.

3 Stars Inconsistent…
This is the only device I have to measure my body fat so I am not sure how accurate it is, however I can say that the there is sometimes wide variances in what it reads. One day it kept reading 11% body fat. I know I am definately not in that range at all. Most of the time it reads in the 14’s which I think is about right. This is a good tool to track decreases in body fat. If you see the number it gives you steadily going down over a time period then you know you are losing body fat. However the number it tells you may not be what your body fat is.

4 Stars Too soon to Tell?
I’ve been using this for a week now and I’ve noticed a few things:

1. My energy level is way higher than it used to be. I get up in the morning, don’t have to worry too much about breakfast (I just drink a bottle of the slimquick and have some oatmeal or something), and I’m generally in a good mood now. However, I should clarify that I’m usually a pretty cheerful person in the first place. I work in customer service at a call center and I’m grateful that my managers aren’t big sticklers about us staying seated because I bounce all over the place now. You should take this if you have the means to exercise. If you don’t, you’ll be going nuts trying to find a way to expel your energy. I’m not typically much of an exerciser, but ever since I started taking this all I want to do is run, run, run.

2. I haven’t noticed much weight loss, but then again I don’t ever step on a scale. I want to get back to where I was a year ago and I measure that by trying to fit into my clothes from a year ago. Since I’ve only been taking it for a week, though, this downside can be easily ignored.

3. I didn’t take the mix on Christmas and, at the end of the night, I actually ended up feeling exhausted and I threw up all my food. The exhaustion is due to the lack of the supplement, I’m sure; the upset stomach may be due to that or due to me being lactose-intolerant and eating soemthing that contained dairy. Who knows?

4. It doesn’t taste bad. I mean, the pleasure of drinking it doesn’t match the pleasure of drinking a cold root beer, but those drink are making us gain weight in the first place so suck it up. It tastes very refreshing if you mix it with cold water and it’s a great way to get hydrated because, if anything, I have trouble drinking as much water as is necessary to be healthy.

*I’m age 21, height of about 5′3 and I weigh 130 Lbs. My intention is to lose 10-15 Lbs in one month (because that’s how long I have before my boyfriend gets back from England). In short, if you want a miracle, get liposuction. But if you want a great energy booster that actually tastes good, doesn’t make your heart race like crazy, and gets you hydrated, take Slimquick.

After reading reviews, I expected this to taste awful. It isn’t terrific, but it is not horrible either. I would compare it to a Crystal Light drink.

After the first day I noticed much more energy. I did not feel jittery at all. I am a daily coffee drinker and maybe that makes a difference. I have cut back a few cups and replaced it with this drink just to make sure I feel no ill effects.

I have been able to exercise more and get more accomplished. I have lost 1 inch in my thighs, and 3 1/2 inches in my waist in 10 days. I do not think that the drink alone has caused the weight loss, BUT without it I do not think I could have the motivation or endurance to work out.

I also see a great reduction in swollen ankles that was caused by water retention.

I picked up a box of these powder sticks a couple of days ago at WM. There were 30 sticks for around twenty bucks. I had pretty high energy all day yesterday, and a pretty good mood. I ran off and forgot them at the house this morning, so I stopped at a store to pick some more up on the way to work. I don’t think the taste is that bad. It isn’t as good as the Crystal Light sticks, but it is still good. I am also doing the P90X program first thing in the morning so I drink this with my breakfast. I doubt if I’ve lost any weight, but I know I am definitely staying hydrated and energized. NO jitters, heart racing, or crash that I have detected so far. Hope this review helps.

If you take a moment to read the ingredients on the Hollywood Cookie Diet package you are going to see that sugar is listed twice — once in the chocolate chips and again in the cookie itself. Yes, you will lose weight if you restrict your calories. Yes, 300 calories per meal for two meals a day should help you to do that. Yes, eating cookies is more fun than swigging sea weed or whatever. But why would you do it the hard way? Go to your grocery store and buy some sugar free cookies. Those cookies are only 70 or 80 calories apiece and you can have more of them than the 150 calorie Hollywood cookies. Why pay over a dollar a cookie and put up with a funky taste when you can do this yourself? I bought two boxes of these things and half are still on my shelf. But I have lost over 30 pounds on my own cookie diet so it turned out OK. Save your money and use your head.

I have beein doing this diet for two weeks and am impressed with the weight loss. I can get a bit hungry between cookies, but I’m fine if I drink water, coffee, or tea when that happens. The main reason I like this diet is the cookies are SO Yummy! It does not taste like a diet food at all.

the chocolate chip cookie tastes good but i don’t think it can replace a meal.for me anyway.i was hungry less then 2 hrs later. better alternative to high calorie snacks but pretty expensive.

If I am going to spend that much money and only loose 10 Lbs in two months I will minus exercise 6 times a week and do the “kellogg challenge”!!! More nutritious and less expensive and they claim that you can loose up to 6 Lbs in TWO WEEKS not two months!!! If I am going to spend that much money I want to loose at least 3 lbs per week!!! Why don’t you people just eat two yogurts instead of two cookies?? Two bowls of cereal? Two slim fast or other meal substitute? It is the same and less expensive!!! I rest my case… no cookie for me!

I dont think many people know about this product. It is a great prevention tool with vitamins and antioxidants to help fight off colds and the free radicals that can cause different kinds of cancer. I was trying some of the acai, goji, and manogsteen juice products from the supermarket but found them to be very expensive, have added sugars, and an unknown concentration of the ingredients that you are trying to buy. I have had issues of my energy levels going up and down through out the day and was looking for a way to fix it.
