    Great Book. Puts the “Secret” and “Think and Grow Rich” techniques to practical use for losing weight. Using a little creative visualization and affirmations to gain your idea body weight is possible by using Jon Gabriel’s methods. The book was written by someone who was very over weight and is a testament to how he achieved a dramatic weight loss. I would recommend the book.

    The Gabriel Method is a very well written book. In it you will find out what causes you to gain and retain wieght, how to turn this around, and ways to greatly improve your self esteem. John Gabriel also gives personal advice on the Gabriel Method forum. The forum is also a very good place to connect with others to compare how the GM is working. It also works in very well with my practice as an advanced EFT practitioner—Rev John PS This is not your standard diet book, this is not a diet.

    5 Stars This is not another diet plan, and it works!
    Jon Gabriel gives you insight on how to think about your body and food differently. If you spend time each day in quiet thought about your ideal body and adopt a few healthy habits, you will gain health and loose extra body weight. I started following his tips 6 weeks ago and have lost 16 pounds. I plan to loose 25 to 30 more pounds. I am 35 years old, a mother of 4 and have never felt so positively about food and my body before. I find it easy now to eat foods that will give me better health and I do not want unhealthy food. I know that I can eat whatever I want. There are no restrictions, I just listen to my body and crave the right foods for my body. If you really want to connect your body, mind and spirit and focus on better health, this book is for you. I think it is an effortless way to feel better and loose weight. I recommend this book to anyone who really wants to love their body and take care of it and a big THANKS to Jon Gabriel.

    5 Stars The Gabriel Method
    This is the first time I’ve ever done an online review but was so compelled to share with anyone contimplating purchasing Jon Gabriel’s book, The Gabriel Method. I discovered it by accident as I was looking for something else and went online trying to find any negative website/review about the hoakiness of this book. I found only positive amazing results and amazing picture testimonials so I figured for ten dollars what do I have to lose? I have read 2/3 of the book and dowloaded his CD for FREE (which you can do once you have your book; it tells you where to go on his website to get the free download) It is so simple and interesting the way that Jon explains how our body and our mind work together and how nutrients/lack of affects our body. I have read dozens of diet/nutrition books as so many have and NOT ONE of them has enlightened me to this information as well as The Gabriel Method. The CD is a completely different story in that it is INCREDIBLY EFFECTIVE!!! I STILL can’t believe it works or even know HOW it works but IT DOES! I’ve listened to it for 4 nights as I’m going to sleep and not only have I gotten the best sleep of my life (NO WAKE UPS!) but the words are actually changing my decisions!!! I have never craved healthy, nutritious food more than I have this last 4 days. I have always loved all healthy foods but have settled for the convenience of prepackaged junk for many years. I have never felt better, more energy, better sleep and 3 inches off the waist in 4 days doesn’t hurt either!!!! (haven’t weighed yet since Jon says not to for the first six months) I would HIGHLY recommend this book/cd to ANYONE whether you need to lose weight or not. It’s a really awesome way to get yourself to slow down and appreciate all the great things around us that we just look right past. If you’re skeptical at all about this as I so was, take a chance, you won’t regret it. Thank you so much Jon Gabriel. You’re good people.

    2 Stars Some good information, but…
    At the risk of sounding harsh, the major part of this book is as light-weight as Mr. Gabriel is.

    The only part that I found useful were the scientific tables relative to weight and calories in/calories out. While I do agree entirely that there is a connection between one’s body weight and how much fat the subconscious tells the body it requires, I would have to DISagree that the body weight is set at the pre-historic level and cannot be changed. Just a bit to ‘woo-woo’ for me.

    Every single cell in the human body is changed over a span of about 7 years. We can go from being obese to lean simply thru our moment to moment choices of clean eating and exercise–with the Caveat that one’s emotions must also be healthy. In the vast majority of obese patients, there is the condition of DEPRESSION. This is the first condition that must be treated. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
