I really enjoyed this book. I love that it’s not dogmatic - it’s not all or nothing. Especially the part about having a “cooked” dinner. I don’t eat meat to begin with, and very little dairy. I found raw goat cheese at Trader Joes which is good.
However, I had such a difficult time avoiding fruit for 3 hours before and after a non-fruit meal. I love fruit, but I find eating fruit alone does not keep you satisfied for very long. And I love eating fruit after lunch and dinner.
As far as the green lemonade, I liked it at first. But yesterday I couldn’t take it down. It just repulsed me! Maybe I was just having an off day.

I first bought this book where I take yoga and loved it so much that I ordered 7 more copies from Amazon. I have been doing a lot of raw food for a long time and this book re-excited me about the entire process because it helps you incorporate raw foods into your diet at whatever level you feel comfortable with. I have made many of the receipes and love them all and I think that with the help of this book, I have made several converts to the incredibly healthy way of living with raw foods.
