4 Stars A good way to start your weight loss!
I lost over 6 pounds during Phase I of this plan. The first couple of days with no meat were a little rough, but after a while you get used to it. I took advantage of eating Tofu.
2 Stars Recipe Book?
The book is composed of about 70% recipes. The “meat” of the book is really basic with charts here and there to make even that seem just a little longer than it really is. Nothing special =/

5 Stars TICKLED TO DEATH
I originally bought this book because I was looking for a change of diet. I found that I was always tired. When I came home from work I would take a nap, and when I woke up hours later I was too tired to make dinner so I would grab whatever was easy and go to bed shortly after. I became to wonder if my caffeine and carb addiction was starting to take its toll, or maybe I was just getting old( I am 44).I did some research on the web and purchased this book. I am now in my third week. The first five days were hell. I recommend to anyone who has a major addiction to caffeine to slowly wean yourself off before starting phase one.
I had a major headache for five days. So bad in fact, that I had to come home from work early one day. But after that, all was well. This diet is easy to follow, and it works. I feel great. After the first five days, I felt better. I no longer require a nap. I have the energy to complete the exercise part of this plan. I have lost 12.5 pounds so far( an added plus, since I just was looking to feel better). I am very encouraged by my results. I am also looking forward to the next stage, so I can eat bread. Moving from stage to stage is like getting a reward. I was so excited when I moved off phase 1 because I got to eat meat. I had turkey and it was the best turkey ever! I no longer crave caffeine or sugars or carbs. I am enjoying the fruits and vegetables. I am enjoying my new found energy. I am also enjoying the loss of weight. I recommend this book to anyone who not only wants to lose weight, but to those who want to feel healthier. I feel 10 years younger. I get compliments from co-workers about the weight loss but also about my skin tone and my increased energy level. I also have noticed that I am more relaxed, calmer than I used to be. Must be the lack of caffeine.
